UP Board Class 12th Examination

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is going to conduct the class 10th and 12th board exams from 24th March 2022. UP Board High School examination will run from 24 March to 12 April 2022 and Intermediate examinations will run from 24 March to 20 April 2022. UP Board 12th class Exam will be conducted in two shifts which are morning and evening shift. Timing of the Morning shift will be from 8 am to 11:15 pm and afternoon shift exam will be started from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.The UP state government has passed the orders to the District Magistrate to make sure that the candidates do not face any kind of trouble at the examination centers. For this, he should constantly sit and discuss with his subordinate officers. DIOS Dr. Amarkant Singh held a meeting of center administrators. In the meeting held at Pioneer Montessori School, the center administrators were informed about the preparation of the board, from maintenance of question papers to sanitization. 

UP Board 12th Grading System (Theory)

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) organizes examinations for classes 10 and intermediate every year in the months of February and March. Candidates who appeared for the UP Board 12th examinations will be able to check their UP Board 12th result through the official website of the UP Board by entering their roll numbers, UP Board official website is upmsp.edu.in. Candidates can also see their UP Board class 12th Result via SMS. Grading of class 12th candidates will be happened on the basis of 50:40:10. That is, As per the performance of the student’s 10th board examination, 50 percent marks will be allotted. 40 percent marks have been given to class 11’s high yearly and annual exams. Whereas the rest 10 percent marks have been given to class 12 pre board exam.

UP Board Class 12 Passing Marks

Before appearing in the Boards examination students must understand the UP board 12th grading system (Theory) and should know the UP Board passing marks for class 12. Mentioned below are the passing marks UP Board for class 12th that students should secure to pass UP Board Class 12 examinations:

  1. Students need to secure at least 33% of marks to pass the UP Board Intermediate examinations.
  2. To prepare the final result of students, the marks scored in practical subjects, sports, and physical education are added.

On the basis of his/her performance in practical and internal assessment by the school Grades will be assigned to them. These assigned grades will be mentioned in UP Board Intermediate result. The marking system of UPMSP 12th class for theory and practical exams is given in detail in the table provided below:

How to figure UP Board GPA using percentage?

CGPA Formula = Addition of grade points scored in subjects/number of subjects.

  • In the below mentioned table, grade of every subject must be noted.
  • After that one should add every subject’s grade points.
  • The overall GPA is the final value.

Example to calculate the UPMSP 12th GPA

UP Board 12th Result Details

From the UP board the main official website the students can access their respective results of 12th class. The issued online mark sheet will include the following given fields of 12th UP board result:-

  • Candidate’s Name and Roll number
  • Student’s Code and name of the  School
  • Name of parents (Mother and Father)
  • Marks and grades scored subject wise  ( theory and practical)
  • Total marks with an overall grade
  • Qualifying status
