BJMC stands for Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication course offered by IP University with the same eligibility procedure.
- The candidates must have passed class 10+2 from a government-recognized board of school education
- The minimum aggregate percentage required for admission is 50%
- The candidates must have English as a core/elective/functional subject in 10+2
- Qualify the Common Entrance Test
However, there are some selective seats through the management quota to the candidates. There are approximately 600 seats available for the BJMC program in IP affiliated colleges and institutes. Almost 85%-90% of seats have been filled through merit basis and the remaining is filled by the management. Management Quota is government authorized management mechanism offered to private or self financing institutions by which students secure direct admission in the institution. However, there is no provision to take direct admission in the GGSIPU campus. Certainly, the management quota leads to the higher fee structure as the candidates are not fully eligible to acquire the seat under the IP University.
