Eligibility Criteria B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

What is Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is the study of  designing , development, construction, and testing of mechanical devices. Mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet a wide range of human needs.Mechanical engineering syllabus includes automobile engineering, manufacturing engineering, power plant engineering, thermal engineering, and mechatronics engineering.Mechanical engineers generally work in offices but sometimes they are called to the field, when a problem needs their personal attention, and to see the construction. Mechanical engineers work mostly in engineering services, and manufacturing.

Eligibility Criteria B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Students who have completed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths can only apply for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering . Students who have written the JEE exam can apply for this course. Second condition is that their percentage in 12 classes  should be a minimum 45% for the general category. For other categories like OBC, SC, ST percentage in 12 classes should be 40%.

A student can register for the admission process through these steps, the first step is to submit the educational documents like 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet. Then the documents are verified by the institute.  Second step is the ward and parents visit the campus and decide whether to take admission or not. The admission manager will attend the walk-in and show empathy towards their concerns and questions regarding the student’s future. If parents and students decide that this is the best institute for him/her, then the enrollment process is initiated by the admission team. Course fee is to be paid by the Parents through a Bank associated with the Institute.

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Future Scope

  1. Design – In this position, the mechanical engineers will be responsible for drafting sketches either on Any mechanical engineer good with sketching  or computer drawing is ideal for such a position.
  2. Production / Manufacturing – This  role usually involves consultation and supervision in the manufacturing of machines. If an individual wants to experience the manufacturing techniques and production process, this would be perfect for this role.
  3. Testing – In this job , you will be responsible for testing of machine parts, systems and equipment. Basically you check for flaws which can happen during production.
  4. Installation & Maintenance – The job role involves skill of installation of machine parts in the industry location, along with proper maintenance. The installation and maintenance are recommended  who are strong in practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge.
  5. Research – Research is the most exciting job in mechanical engineering. The job responsibility  will  include research  and apply  the  findings for the development of new products .
