Students who are planning to enroll for law courses have to check eligibility criteria according to the university/college. Students can go to the website of the law colleges and check and accordingly process it. So students who are planning to enroll in law courses, then you have to register yourselves for the Common Law Admission Test which is a national level entrance exam for colleges and universities in India. Students who have completed 10+2 can register for CLAT. CLAT -Common Law Admission Test is a centralized national level entrance test for admissions to National Law Universities, Self-financed law colleges and PSUs in India. Most private and self-financed law colleges in India also use these scores for law admissions.
How to fill CLAT 2022 Application Form
To fill the CLAT application form, there are 4 steps.

Step 4 – Completing the application and paying the registration fee.
Step 1 – CLAT 2022 Registration
- Visit the official website of CLAT 2022 – https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/
- Click on CLAT 2022 link and open the registration panel
- Click the register link
- Now fill the CLAT registration form by entering your name,phone number and email id and submit it.
- After submitting you will receive OTP on email id as well as on the phone number mentioned above.
- Fill the OTP and complete the registration process.
Step 2 – Filling the CLAT 2022 Application form
After finishing the registration students can access the application form of CLAT 2022. The application form would have five sections – personal information, communication details, qualifying examination details, preference and reservation. candidates will have to enter all the relevant information in these sections. Enter personal details
- Upload a recent passport size photograph and signature as per the instructions given.
- Enter the personal details – Student’s full name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, category, nationality, residential status.
- After filling in the details, click on next to move to the communication page
Fill the Communication Details
- Enter your permanent address
- Enter the email ID and mobile number
- Save the details and move to next page
Enter Education Details
Students would enter their education details. For UG CLAT, candidates have to enter Class 10th and Class 12th details. Students will have to enter the following education details.
- Qualifying exam
- Name of board
- Passing status – Appearing/Appeared or Passed
- Month of passing
- Year of passing
- Percentage
Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam need not enter the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam
Enter Exam Centers Preference
Students would have to select any three exam centers for CLAT 2022, in the order of preference. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted in more than 80 cities across the country. Therefore, candidates may choose the nearest exam cities as their test center preference.
Step 3 – Submitting the application form
After filling all sections of the application form, students will have to sign the declaration box given at the end of the application form and submit the details.
Step 4 – Completing the application and paying the application fee.
To complete the application process, the candidate must submit the registration fees. The CLAT application fee is Rs. 4,000 (Rs. 3,500 for SC and ST student). Students can submit their application fees in online mode, using net banking, credit card or debit card options.
