Students who are staying in Bihar and settled with families in Bihar can study with universities and colleges associated with Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. BCECE is an entrance examination for students who are interested to study agriculture and horticulture courses for their education and work in similar fields after completion of education. Earlier BCECE used to conduct entrance examinations for engineering courses and medical courses too. If someone is interested to join an engineering course they can register and appear for JEE Mains 2022 and show the percentile to join in college or university in Bihar. If someone is interested to join a medical course they can register and appear for NEET 2023 exam and show the scorecard to join a college or university in Bihar. After you appear for the entrance examination, Bihar Board conducts counseling for various courses where students should choose colleges and universities they are interested to enroll with and wait for allotment from BCECE and once you are allotted a college or university in Bihar, you should pay the course fee and join there.

The officials have announced that the enrollment to Engineering and Medical courses will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency. JEE Main 2022 and NEET 2022 scores of the students will be considered for admission for Engineering and Medical courses.
