What is Blockchain –
Blockchain is a process of recording information which is impossible to change later , no one can change the data or cheat the block chain system. To understand it better let’s take an example – Hospitals can maintain electronic records of patients and what kind of treatment they need. Doctors can access open source block chain databases to check the list of patients and what treatment is to be given according to their disease or injury. The doctor can decide which kind of treatment will help the patient be cured.
Another example can be the university who released the result and the marksheet can be saved with the name of student, roll number, subject and result. No one can alter it as Block chain technology has its own unique address and unique key for each block to access. Only that student can see the result, it is secured.
Even though BlockChain Technology is Open Source for all the users, it has privacy. No one can randomly check anyone’s data from the block. Every block has a fingerprint and address of the previous block, if anyone tries to change the data or hack it. Then the address of the block will be changed.
Eligibility for B.Tech BlockChain
Eligibility to apply B.Tech Blockchain- Students who have completed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths can only apply for B.Tech Blockchain. Students who have written the JEE exam can apply for this course. Second condition is that their percentage in 12 classes should be a minimum 45% for the general category. For other categories like OBC, SC, ST percentage in 12 classes should be 40%.
There are 3 types of entrance exams conducted for enrollment into B.Tech Blockchain. First, many universities and institutes conduct entrance exams for enrollment and some colleges and institutes consider JEE Mains and UPSEE entrance exams.
B.Tech Blockchain Admission Process
A student can register for the admission process through these steps, the first step is to submit the educational documents like 10th Marksheet,12th Marksheet, Migration certificate,Transfer Certificate, Character certificate,Aadhar card photocopy,Passport size photos. Then the documents are verified by the institute. Second step is the ward and parents visit the campus and decide whether to take admission or not. The admission manager will attend the walk-in and show empathy towards their concerns and questions regarding the student’s future. If parents and students decide that this is the best institute for him/her, then the enrollment process is initiated by the admission team. Course fee is to be paid by the Parents through a Bank associated with the Institute.
B.Tech in Blockchain Future Scope
- Blockchain in Education Industry : Every university or institute can use blockchain technology to secure their database of students (Leads) who are planning to enroll for courses like B.Tech, BCA, BBA, MBA. Basically this technology can be used by marketing managers. There is no chance of fraud or tampering data.
- Blockchain in Healthcare: Every hospital or clinic can use blockchain technology to have a huge number of databases of patients who are coming for treatment. Instead of spending lot of time compiling huge patient database, treat the patient using blockchain technology
- Blockchain in Online Shopping – Applications like Amazon and Myntra can use this blockchain technology to have the database of the product the customer is buying , what is the price, what is the address, when will it get delivered.
- Blockchain in Medical Labs – Every lab can use this blockchain technology to have the count of patients looking for home tests and lab tests, and by when the patients will get their reports. There cannot be fraud by using this technology
- Blockchain in cloud storage: Every one can save their data in the cloud and there will not be any kind of modification by others. The data will be confidential for everyone other than the person.
The students who complete their B.Tech Computer Science – Blockchain Technology can have multiple options to work in many Multinational companies. Average Packages – 7–15 lakh per annum.
