GGSIPU BAJMC Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) is an undergraduate three-year program offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University that is the extensive study of various journalistic skills and mass media knowledge such as newspapers, television, radio, internet, etc. It also informs students about various technology, equipment, and software involved in mass media and journalism and how it could be used.

Academic Qualification
- The candidates must have passed class 10+2 from a government-recognized board of school education
- The minimum aggregate percentage required for admission is 50%
- The candidates must have English as a core/elective/functional subject in 10+2
Please note that 5% relaxation in marks has been given to the students who belong to reserved categories such as scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward classes.
Entrance test
The admission has been carried out on a merit basis through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka. A candidate must need to appear for the entrance test and get a good ranking in CET to attend the counseling for the further admission process.
Please note that students who are appearing for 10+2 are also eligible to apply for the IPU CET BJMC entrance exam provided they can submit the proof of eligibility along with documents within a stipulated time frame given on the official website of IP University.
Age requirement
- The candidate must be 18 years to 21 years of age.
- Students below 18 years can also apply provided their eligibility requirements have been met and parents/legal guardians submit an affidavit to the concerned officials within a stipulated time frame.
Candidates should have a full understanding of the eligibility criteria and documentation required before applying and filling out the IPU CET BJMC application form. Some of the eligibility requirements that must be satisfactorily met include academic qualification, the minimum aggregate marks, age limit, and Common Entrance Test rank.
