Central board of secondary education has come out with a change in the pattern of class 10th and 12th board examination. Keeping in mind the pandemic and all the issues that the students have gone through in the last couple of years, it was noticed that there is a need to bring out some relief to the students of 10th and 12th standards. Hence the changes have been made to the exam by dividing the exams into two parts, they will be known as Term 1 and Term 2 respectively. It has been observed that Term 1 was mostly objective and Term 2 is going to be majorly subjective with a few objective type questions.
This pattern has been a sigh of relief to most students, as the objective questions kind of help students to score better, and does not require rigorous preparations. It seems the board understood that the students may not be so thorough with the topics and concepts like earlier years in physical schooling. While there are mock papers available with the new pattern online and it’s advisable that the students practice them to get a clear idea of the exam pattern. There are various advises available on the internet about the new CBSE pattern, like the questions that might come, how to answer the questions, the weightage of the syllabus chapter wise how to fill the OMR sheet correctly. There are information available like how to download your admit card etc. Hence there is enough support for students to not feel the pressure with the board exam anymore.
It has been also observed that the CBSE actually released the answer key of Tem 1 exam after the exam and it is said to release the second answer key after a week of term 2 papers are through. The students will be able to download the answer key by log in to the official CBSE website. They can select the subjects and open the particular answer key of that subject. The answer sheet will help them clear their doubts of how they might have performed in the exam, will also help students to calculate their scores with the marking scheme given.
Answer key are usually released in all high level examinations, to keep a transparency regarding marks. It’s a good way of reassuring the students of the way they have performed in the examination. The students can check the answer key if they are confused about a few questions or if they would like to be sure of how much they can score. The Term 1 answer sheet was released by the CBSE after the exams were through so students will know by now how to the term 2 answer key will be similar to the Tern 1 answer key.
With a lot changes in the new examination pattern by CBSE, we wish our student all the very best and hope to see the new changes bring bright smiles in all of their faces.
