DU Entrance Exam Pattern 2022

Every entrance exam has its different exam pattern and sections to cover. Every year thousand of candidates apply in Delhi University for different courses within the field of arts, commerce, engineering, management and so on. However, most of them oblivious about the conditions of the exam pattern. To offer more clarity on this subject, please go through the below pointers:

  • Exam DateThe Examinationwill be organized from June 2022.
  • Duration of Exam: The exam duration will be two hours irrespective of the course choices.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Number of Questions: In the examination, a total of 100 questions will be asked.
  • Marking Scheme:For the correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks.
  • Negative Marking:For incorrect responses, one mark will be deducted from the candidates.

Delhi University has opted for CU-CET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) as the mode of entrance exam and organized via CBT mode.

 

Courses Exam Pattern
BA (Hons.) Business Economics/Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS)/ Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) (BBA(FIA)) Sections: Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Analytical Ability, General English, Business, and General Awareness.
B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation) Sections: Mathematics, Reasoning, and Analytical abilities at 10+2 levels.
B.A. (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences. Sections: General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication skills (English/Hindi), Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Ability at 10+2 levels.

Language: Question Paper available in English and Hindi Language

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) Sections: English, Hindi, Mathematics, science, and social science up to class 10 level.

Language used: English and Hindi

Note: There will be no descriptive questions.

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Multimedia and Mass Communication Sections: General Awareness, Media Awareness, Current Affairs, English Comprehension, and Grammatical and Analytical Skills.
