JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2024: The JEE Main 2024 eligibility requirements have been made available by NTA on their official website, www.nta.ac.in. The JEE Main 2024 eligibility requirements include information on required subjects, required marks, JEE age restriction, nationality, educational background, and more. Candidates having a minimum aggregate of 75% for general candidates (65% for SC/ST candidates) who took the Class 12th or equivalent exam in 2022 or 2023 are eligible for JEE Main 2024. No age limit is essential for JEE main appearing students. However the attempt limit is set for 3 consecutive years
Candidates aspiring for the B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch and B.planning have to qualify the exam of JEE Main in order to get admission in government-affiliated college. JEE Main eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam consist of conditions to be fulfilled by students such as age limit, qualifying exam, subjects in qualifying exam, number of attempts, and year of passing. Academic Criteria:
The candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam in the year 2020 or 2021. Those who will be appearing in the year 2022 are also eligible. Student has to clear main five subjects – Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, and any other subject.

Age Criteria:
There is no prescribed age criterion for taking JEE Main.

Indian nationals/ OCI/PIO/ Foreign nationals can apply for IIT JEE Main 2022.

Number of Attempts:
Candidates can appear in JEE Main in three consecutive years from passing their class 12. There is no restricted number of attempts for JEE Main.

Do we need 75 in PCM for IIT?
Yes, it is compulsory, you have got as a minimum 75% in c.b.s.e board for taking admission on IITs,NITs & IIITs.
