Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in general conducts three rounds of counselling for the qualifying students of the Common Entrance Test followed by a sliding and spot filling round. After the seat allotment process of the final round, the process for sliding round begins for the vacant seats.
What is Sliding Round?
Candidates who have paid the partial fee payment in the selected college but did not froze the seat neither withdrawn the application are eligible for sliding round but with fewer options.
The Sliding round was conducted in the case of seat availability in the IP Colleges. Once the admission process is completed, a sliding round is organized by the authorities for the interested students. Please note that there will be no procedure to withdraw the application or fee refund in any case.
This round is also executed on the basis of the preferences. Based on the merit score of the candidate, the student can choose the preferences in the given round. For the admission confirmation, it is mandatory for all students to visit the allotted college and pay the balance fees along with the documents. In case of non-reporting to the given institutions, the admission will be null and void.
Documents candidate need to carry during reporting at college:
- Admission slip
- Academics documents
- Fee receipt
- Provisional allotment letter
- Personal ID
