Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University is a state government university located in Delhi, Dwarka. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts IPU CET exam every year so that students can apply to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in colleges that are affiliated to GGSIPU. The full form of IPU CET is (Indraprastha University common entrance test ). Students join engineering, law, administration, computer application, journalism, mass communication, management, nursing, medical, and lots of more fields.
There are 120 colleges affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University of New Delhi. Out of 120 colleges, 35 colleges are government institutes affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The remaining 85 colleges are self-financed institutes affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The colleges which are affiliated to IPU offer multiple undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in multiple fields like engineering, management, nursing, medical, finance and many more.
Recently IP University has declared IPU CET results. The students have checked out the results and some students were not qualified in IPU CET. Students who were qualified in IPU CET, has 2 options. Students can get enrolled through Direct Admission or Counselling. Students who want to go through the counselling procedure have to register themselves on the IPU website and fill in all the details and upload the documents required. After the submission, students need to pay a counseling fee of 1000 rupees to the IP University. After the verification of documents, the students who are eligible can apply for a choice filling.
Choice Filling is where students apply to multiple colleges for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. According to IPU rules, there is no limitation on the number of colleges to be filled by choice. The result for the round three counseling would be declared on the IPU website. The students know whether any college is allotted or not. If the college is allotted, then the student will visit the college and freeze the seat. If they don’t like the college, then they go for the next round of counselling.
